RADCLIFF

Located right outside of Fort Knox’s main gate, Radcliff is known for its welcoming spirit and is home to one of the largest concentrations of military veterans in the state. From the natural beauty of Saunders Spring Nature Preserve to the southern hospitality of Boundary Oak Bourbon Distillery, to the rich history of General George Patton, Radcliff has something for everyone.

VINE GROVE

Mere minutes from the main gate is the charming small town of Vine Grove where you can grab lunch at an old-fashioned general store, relax at Optimist Park, or spend time shopping at the quaint stores on Main Street. With a population of 7,000 and growing, Vine Grove is a close-knit community, which is also known for hosting annual events like its Veterans Day Parade – one of the longest-running Veterans Day parades in the region. It is truly a community that prides itself on honoring those who serve.

Fort Knox is home to a museum honoring the legacy and leadership of one of the U.S. military’s most distinguished heroes. The General George Patton Museum includes the largest collection of General George Patton material in the world, along with an array of military artifacts. Outside the museum, you’ll even find an authentic World War II barracks exhibit to explore.
