RADCLIFF
Located right outside of Fort Knox’s main gate (Chaffee gate / Bullion Blvd.), with a population of nearly 25,000, Radcliff is home to one of the largest concentrations of military veterans in the state.
VINE GROVE
Do you want to live in one of the sweetest small towns there is? Look no further than Vine Grove, Kentucky. This community of approximately 6,000 people sits just west of Fort Knox mere minutes from the main gate.
MEADE COUNTY
Stunning views of the Ohio River, idyllic country settings and warm, welcoming neighbors make Meade County, Kentucky, a great place to call home. A community of 26,000, with quick gate access to Fort Knox, Meade County is a favorite place to settle among many military families.
ELIZABETHTOWN
Elizabethtown is home to welcoming people, great schools and world-class healthcare. As the county seat of Hardin County with a population of nearly 30,000, it is a shopping and dining destination for the entire region.
HARDIN COUNTY
In addition to the three largest incorporated cities of Radcliff, Vine Grove and Elizabethtown, Hardin County is home to dozens of smaller communities like Rineyville, Sonora, Glendale and Cecilia. Each offers an idyllic small-town or rural country setting with easy access to Fort Knox and larger commercial centers.
BULLITT COUNTY
On Fort Knox’s Northeastern boundary you’ll find Bullitt County, with a population of more than 75,000. The city of Shepherdsville is the county seat and Bullitt County Public Schools serve school-age children in the community.
LARUE COUNTY
With an easy drive south of Fort Knox, you can live in the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln – LaRue County, Kentucky. Hodgenville, the county seat, is home to most of LaRue County’s professional services as well as local dining and shopping options.
